I thought I could save some money and handle everything myself. About halfway through the planning, and my wedding fast approaching, I was drowning in tears. The stress was unreal. In 2012, I was contacted by Elizabeth Summ, Event Planner, notifying me that I had been selected to receive a S.O.A.R. (Summ-Good Outstanding Achievement Recognition) award for Humanitarian.
I was very honored to be recognized for the work that I had been part of with Bethesda Mission over the past 18 years. Our executive director was invited to say a few words and to introduce me. I was given an opportunity to share some of the work of Bethesda Mission and expressed my appreciation for receiving such an honor.
There were a number of categories and recipients that were honored that night. All of us were very impressed with the entire evening that truly had no agenda other than recognizing some wonderful organizations who have been working to improve the community. The Summ-Good event was a huge success and enjoyed by all attending. I personally think that the Summ-Good folks are the ones that should receive an award for their selfless work in promoting others. I know that their future events will surely have an impact on the work of those whom they honor. I am proud to be able to congratulate Elizabeth and her team on a job well done. Ken Ross
We tried an inexperienced planner before calling Saundra. We had no idea that many planners operate on commissions and kickbacks. We weren’t getting the best vendors for our money, and we ended up handling so many details ourselves. A friend recommended Saundra, and things were turned around for the better within a week. Wanting to surprise my wife with a 50th birthday celebration, I didn’t even hesitate, I called SummGood Event.
